Objective
In case of:
• phimosis and in some for religious requirements.
• the excision of the foreskin.
Position
Supine (legs apart).
Anesthesia
General.
Procedure
• A dorsal slit is made.
• Adhesions are freed.
• Circumferential incision is made beyond glans.
• Hemostasis and the wound approximated using absorbable suture.
Instruments
• Minor surgery set
• Probe and grooved director (Fig. 9.6).
